Write The Enquiry You Would Want Answered
For the quickest useful reply, send three short lines: what you want to learn, who is coming, and the dates that could work.
Suggested Format
Three Lines Is Plenty To Start
1 Course or private day wanted, plus any preferred dates.
2 Number of people and your current hill walking experience.
3 The navigation worry you most want to sort, such as bearings, cloud, contours or getting back on line.

Meeting places are chosen around the course aim, the group and the forecast. Usual starts include Fort William, Glen Nevis Visitor Centre, Torlundy, Spean Bridge and Kinlochleven.
Before You Write
The Details That Make The Reply Better
- Preferred dates, plus whether weekdays are possible
- Group size and whether you already walk together
- Current hill experience, including any Scottish days you have done
- Whether you want an open course, private tuition, a guided hill day or you are not sure
- Any worries about navigation, poor visibility, pace, exposure or rough ground
Plain Advice
No Pressure To Book The Wrong Day
The Mountain of Me stays deliberately small. If another provider, a club weekend or a different type of instruction would suit you better, Eilidh will say so.
